
Albert Geigle honoredAlbert is a charter member and one of the founders of the Lions Club, which was started in 1975, and he has helped with most, if not all, of the clubs projects. He was secretary-treasurer of the club for more than 20 years. Among his many other contributions to the community were his role as a fire fighter and fire chief with the Strasburg Fire Department. Albert and his wife, Margaret, live in Strasburg, and he celebrated his 94th birthday on March 30. Their children include Peggy (Ted) Olson of Chaska, Minn.; Shirley (Andy) Schaffner of Bismarck; Carol Taylor of Orange, Calif.; Elaine (Al) Speten of Minot, and Violet (Jim) Ryckman of Strasburg. The Geigles have 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. |
